NUFC 4 Stoke City 1. Owen, Cacapa, Milner, Duff all scored as we tore into Stoke, the players looking relieved to be rid of the Big Sam era tactics. 4-4-2 it was and a happier looking Owen led the line. The 2nd half saw Arsenal take the lead, only for Ross to equalise brilliantly with a good run and shot to ensure the draw, making amends for an earlier miss in front of an open goal. 23/09/07 NUFC 3 West Ham 1 Mark Viduka scored twice, our win marred by another injury scare for Michael Owen. Viduka got in front of West Ham's Ferdinand to head us ahead from N'Zogbia's superb cross. Ashton volleyed the Hammers level following Lucas Neill's long throw but Viduka bundled in our 2nd from close range after more good work by N'Zogbia.
